I have a Systech Network Device Server (RCS, POS, NPS, NDS or iNS/ixNS series) on a remote network and I can't see it with NativeCom. What do I need to do?

I have a Systech Network Device Server (RCS, POS, NPS, NDS or iNS/ixNS series) on a remote network behind a firewall. What do I need to open in the firewall to use it with NativeCom?

I have a timer expiration/network disconnected error message. What does that mean?

I powered up my unit and it keeps blinking yellow. What is it doing?

My status LED is XXX (pick a color). What does that mean?

My unit is flashing red or orange and I cannot access it. What is wrong?

Output works on my port server but I get no input. What's wrong?

Why can't I communicate with one of the serial ports using the serial port on the back of my PC or laptop and HyperTerminal?
