The IPG/7000 Series of Internet Payment Gateways permit POS payment terminals, POS payment controllers, check readers and ATMs to simply and effectively re-route transactions via the Internet or private IP network instead of dial up telephone lines.
The IPG/7000 Series comes with either phone ports or DB25 serial ports. The phone ports are standard phone RJ-11 wall jacks. Using these ports, the IPG acts like the phone company, answering calls, but routing them over a network connection instead of through the phone system. The DB25 serial ports, which can be configured as DCE or DTE, emulate an external modem, routing dialed connections over the network. The IPG uses the latest accepted standards for SSL encryption and no changes should be required for your existing POS terminals or applications. The Systech solution provides a fast, flexible and secure IP-based platform for electronic transactions.
For applications deploying IPG/7000 products to connect and network distributed serial devices at any number of remote locations, Systech ONDEMAND remote access and management software system is an ideal solution for cost effectively and securely managing and controlling these remote devices.
Additionally, the IPG/7000 is bundled with Systech's Remote Network Device Monitoring software capability that delivers the ability to manage, control, and share access to networks deploying Systech's dial-to-IP solutions through any Internet browser.
An optional dial port can be used as a backup to dial an ISP if the Internet connection is down, or to route some calls to payment processors that do not yet support SSL or IP transactions.
For developers and OEMs with unique protocol conversion, monitoring, or reporting needs, Systech's Developer's API is available to create custom added-value.
