Systech dial-to-IP converters permit HVAC, building management and similar industrial control systems to simply and efficiently re-route data transfers via the Internet or private IP networks instead of dial up telephone lines.
Systems with built-in modems requiring a phone line to send/receive data plug into the RJ-11 phone jack in the Systech unit. The IPG/7000 converter changes the dial stream to IP and formats it for the IP host. For systems with an external modem, the Systech unit replaces that modem and connects to the system through the unit's serial connection.
Data is sent over the location's existing broadband connection. All IPG/7000 converters offer SSL data encryption.
Monthly recurring costs for phone lines may be eliminated and data sending/receiving times may be dramatically reduced.
