IPG/7000
Dial-to-IP Converters |
The IPG/7000 Series of Internet Payment Gateways
permit HVAC, building management and similar control systems to simply and
efficiently re-route data transfers via the
Internet or private IP network instead of dial up telephone lines.
The IPG/7000 comes with either phone ports or DB25 serial ports. The
phone ports are standard phone RJ-11 wall jacks. Using these ports,
the IPG acts like the phone company, answering calls, but routing
them over a network connection instead of through the phone system.
The DB25 serial ports, which can be configured as DCE or DTE,
emulate an external modem, routing dialed connections over the
network. The IPG uses the latest accepted standards for SSL
encryption and no changes should be required for your existing
remote data access and collection applications. The Systech solution provides a fast,
flexible and secure IP-based platform for sending data over internet
connections. |

| An optional dial port can be used as a backup to
dial an ISP if the internet connection is down, or to route some
calls to systems that do not yet support SSL or IP connections.
Additionally, the IPG/7000 is bundled with Systech's Remote
Network Device Monitoring software capability that delivers
the ability to manage, control, and share access to networks
deploying Systech's dial-to-IP solutions through any Internet
browser
For developers and OEMs with unique protocol conversion,
monitoring, or reporting needs, Systech's Developer's API is
available to create custom added-value.
