San Diego, CA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Systech Corporation continues to extend the reach of its connectivity line of serial-to-IP and dial-to-IP products. Incorporating a cellular interface and modem into Systech's proven Internet Payment Gateway products provide benefits of access, placement, network independence and cost savings.
The dial to high speed cellular unit addresses problems faced by a number of merchants: 1) where no wired high speed network access is available; 2) where wired broadband access is available, but connection of ATMs and payment terminals is not permitted by the network administrator ; 3) when prices for dial connections continue to rise, making cellular connections comparatively more affordable; and 4) where transient network access is needed, for example at trade fairs and sporting events. According to Jon Goby, Systech Vice President, Sales, "The new dial to cellular solution directly addresses these problems so that merchants can realize faster and less expensive IP-based transactions, by trading a $35 per month fixed phone line for an under $10 per month cellular connection, while avoiding replacement of existing dial-based hardware."
